Delighted, and somewhat relieved, to return to my desk. Some of you will know the challenges I have been facing since the beginning of this year, but I am hoping to be able to combat those. Field research is still proving somewhat difficult, some new images from St Clement's Parish Churchyard, Dingwall have been uploaded, but I aim to visit a few burial sites this Autumn. Watch this space as they say.
A new addition to the website is a small shop, where I hope to sell a limited edition of cards and prints. I have kept prices as low as I can, as I know many of us are facing challenging times at present. All proceeds will go towards Morte Photography's aim. Please take a look, and if there is anything you like that isn't online, do feel free to drop me a line. I am aiming to add International posting in the upcoming months, but as people here in the UK already know, Brexit has affected International postage greatly.
I can now announce that my new book, Life of a Medicall Officer in World War One, will be relased in April 2023, via Pen and Sword. It may be of interest to some of you that visit this site. Further updates will follow.
Some new talk have been added. Subject matter ranges from Scottish funerary architecture to premature burial. More are currently being uploaded as I speak. If you have any queries regarding any talk, again feel free to send me a message.
I am aiming to Blog regularly, every other week in fact, in concert with my other website http://www.lorraineevans.com Said new regime commences today, with a brief piece pertaining to resource material. Small reminders will be dropped via my social media sites here and there, so if you are not following me on Twitter et al, please do. It would be very much appreciated.
I am also working on a new members section, as discussed previously. For those who sign up I aim to give discounts on upcoming talks, walks, the shop etc. As well as previews to planned site visits.
Oh, and before I forget, another new book is in the pipeline, focussing on a unique burial aspect, details will be revealed when contracts are signed.
In the meantime, please feel free to drop me a line, via the CONTACTS page if you have any queries. Always happy to assist.
