2017 was a difficult year for many, there is no denying that. So I hope 2018 will bring you all much peace, joy and laughter. Life here will be rather busy, says she faintly wondering if that is a good or a bad thing. As I write this little post I am looking at the cover of my next book, Symbols of Mortality, which will be published by Pen and Sword. Trust me, it is a stunning cover and I hope to be able to share it with you all in the not-too-distant future. What I can tell you is this, there are skulls - plenty of skulls!
And on the topic of skulls, below is one of the first images for this year, taken in Chapel Yard, Inverness only a couple of days ago. Said image will form part of an exhibition, dates to be confirmed as we speak. In fact, I will be having a couple of exhibitions this year, as well as talks and the odd guided tour here and there. So I will keep you posted on dates as and when they happen.
I have also received many emails regading sale of prints. As such, I will be working on a 'Shop' over the up-coming weeks. Something I know I should have completed months ago, but I am not one who is an accomplished self-promoter. You could argue that I shy away from it! A situation that I hope to rectify. The 'Coffee Break Blog' will also become a regular feature this year, offering a variety of posts and reviews on all subjects surrounding mortality.
Finally, please feel free to get in touch. Always here to answer queries and/or share information.
